Every week, the Oklahoma Music Minute gives a run down of where you can see live music. There is so much great music being played in the state and we encourage you to get out and see some of these musicians live! Here are our picks for the week of September 30.

Monday, September 30

Tonight, The Toasters come to Mercury Lounge in Tulsa and For King & Country visit the Tulsa State Fair. Meanwhile, Calexico and Iron & Wine play Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. Here's Calexico and Iron & Wine with "Father Mountain."


Tuesday, October 1

Tonight, Lovelytheband visit the Tulsa State Fair and Less Than Jake & Bowling For Soup play Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. Meanwhile, KONGOS comes to Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. Here's KONGOS with "Fools."


Wednesday, October 2

Tonight, Thunder Jackson plays The Opolis in Norman and Heart & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts take the stage at BOK Center in Tulsa. Meanwhile, AHI comes to The Blue Door in Oklahoma City. Here's AHI with "Breakin' Ground."


Thursday, October 3

Tonight, Judah & the Lion comes to Brady Theater in Tulsa and John Scofield comes to Duet Jazz Club in Tulsa. Meanwhile, Old Crow Medicine Show plays The Jones Assembly in Oklahoma City. Check out Old Crow Medicine Show's performance of "Flicker & Shine" during Austin City Limits last year.


Friday, October 4

Tonight, Judah & the Lion plays The Jones Assembly in Oklahoma City, Chris Stapleton comes to Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, and Snarky Puppy performs at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. Meanwhile, Twiggs release their new album at 51st Street Speakeasy in Oklahoma City. Here's Twiggs with "Hometown."


The Oklahoma Music Minute airs weekdays on KOSU at 6:19 a.m., 8:19 a.m., 11:31 a.m., 1:20 p.m., 3:18 p.m., and 5:18 p.m.
