KOSU Give Back Day at Boom Town Creamery

KOSU is excited to partner with Boom Town Creamery for a ‘KOSU Give Back Day’ on Saturday, Dec. 6.
20% of all sales at all four Boom Town locations that day will be donated to KOSU. Whether you’re in Oklahoma City or Edmond, you can enjoy a scoop of small batch ice cream AND support local and independent journalism.
In addition to the ‘KOSU Give Back Day,’ Boom Town will be offering a special treat in honor of KOSU — The Spy Signal! That’s a milkshake made with Boom Town Elemental espresso ice cream, topped with chocolate covered coffee beans.

An actor, writer, and comedian known for his offbeat wit and physical comedy, Josh Fadem is recognizable from Twin Peaks: The Return (as Phil Bisby), 30 Rock, and Better Call Saul. His recent projects include The Creep Tapes (2024– ), IT: Welcome to Derry, and The Asset. Expect surreal energy and sharp absurdism.
THE MARTIN DUPRASS
This husband-and-wife puppeteering duo is known for their offbeat characters and DIY comedy. What began as a quarantine sketch evolved into a 37-minute satire about internet fame and social-media chaos. Their newest short, Awkward Gawker, premiered at the Oklahoma Film Exchange in October and features Oklahoma’s outsider comedy scene.
