The Church Studio presents Carney Fest on Saturday, April 27th at 3rd and Trenton in Tulsa. Mike Campbell, guitarist from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, brings his band, The Dirty Knobs, to Tulsa 50 years after first recording at the Church Studio. Carney Fest will also feature Ann Bell and the Tulsa Sound, Austin Allsup, Steph Simon, King Cabbage Brass Band, Sam Burchfield, She Hates Me Not and more.
Experience an electrifying fusion of poetry, dance, music, and rap by the dynamic Oklahoma-based Black creative collective Poetic City, drawing inspiration from the vibrant artworks of "Memories and Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art" at OSU Museum of Art. Doors open at 5:45 PM.

This performance is presented in conjunction with "Memories and Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art," an exhibition celebrating the passion of an ordinary couple who spent more than 35 years as devoted connoisseurs, building a collection of vivid artworks that are both resonant and remarkably personal. On view at the OSU Museum of Art through May 11, 2024. This exhibition is organized and toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC.
