341 Deaths, 6,805 Positive COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Two more Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, increasing the state's death toll to 341. The deaths occurred between May 28 and May 31. The deaths reported Wednesday include:

  • One in Adair County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Texas County, a male in the 65 and older age group.

Health officials confirmed that total positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 6,805, an increase of 113 cases from Tuesday. That's more than a one percent increase in total reported cases.
5,711 people — nearly 84 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

136 Oklahomans are currently hospitalized as either confirmed positive COVID-19 cases or under investigation for the virus.
