Choctaw Nation Moving Forward With Next Phase Of Vaccinations
The Choctaw Nation has more than 400 COVID-19 vaccinations under their belt and are ready to begin phase two.
Beginning Monday, patients qualifying for Choctaw Nation Health Services that are citizens aged 60 years or older, have a CDIB card (Certified Degree of Indian Blood) and live within the Choctaw Nation's jurisdiction can receive the vaccine.
Additionally, teachers who have a CDIB card and are patients within Choctaw Nation's Health Services can also get vaccinated.
Clinics within the Nation will offer both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Health officials with the Nation say that as more doses of the vaccine become available, more people will have the chance to roll up their sleeves and get their first shots.
