2028 Los Angeles Olympics

The decision to award the 2024 and 2028 Summer Games simultaneously is a first for the International Olympic Committee and the result of a trying bidding process.

LA last hosted the Summer Games in 1984. The city had originally been bidding for the 2024 games, which will go to Paris instead.
