One more Oklahoman has died due to COVID-19, a male older than 65 in Sequoyah County. That increases the state's death toll to 80.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed Thursday that positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 1,684, an increase of 160 cases from Wednesday. That's a ten percent increase in total cases.
61 of Oklahoma's 77 counties are reporting positive cases of COVID-19. Oklahoma County has the most number of cases with 385. Tulsa County has 308, Cleveland County has 231, Wagoner County has 57, Washington County has 54, Creek County has 48, Canadian County has 48 and Comanche County has 47.
Officials are encouraging Oklahomans to celebrate religious holidays such as Easter and Passover virtually and continue to avoid large gatherings.
