Poetic City @ OSU Museum of Art

Experience an electrifying fusion of poetry, dance, music, and rap by the dynamic Oklahoma-based Black creative collective Poetic City, drawing inspiration from the vibrant artworks of "Memories and Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art" at OSU Museum of Art.
Doors open at 5:45 PM.

This performance is presented in conjunction with "Memories and Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art," an exhibition celebrating the passion of an ordinary couple who spent more than 35 years as devoted connoisseurs, building a collection of vivid artworks that are both resonant and remarkably personal. On view at the OSU Museum of Art through May 11, 2024. This exhibition is organized and toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC.

Funding for the 2023/24 season of exhibitions and programs is provided by Malinda & Richard Fischer, Riccarda de Eccher & Bill Goldston, Caroline & John Linehan, Suzanne Sugg, and the OSU Museum of Art Advocates.
