The South Carolina Republican faces a number of primary challengers, including one who was just endorsed by the former president.

The state party leadership approved their official rebuke on Saturday. Rice was one of 10 House Republicans to vote in favor of impeaching Trump.

It was the most members of a president's party to vote for his impeachment in history. Many Republicans faced safety threats ahead of the vote, but Trump had gone too far for this group.
