Ernesto became a hurricane again as it churned away from Bermuda and headed further out in the northeastern Atlantic, sending powerful swells toward the U.S. East Coast.

Flora Duffy is one of two Bermudian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics. The remote set of islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean is more than 600 miles from the closest land mass.

Sally is now forecast to fall just short of being a Category 3 hurricane. But flooding poses a huge threat: "Slow movement means more rain," National Hurricane Center Director Ken Graham says.

One day after becoming the first major hurricane of the 2018 Atlantic season, Florence lost some steam — but it's expected to regain dangerously strong winds by Monday.

The Category 3 storm has maximum sustained winds of 125 miles per hour. The National Hurricane Center calls it "extremely dangerous."
