Kanye West

It was surreal moment even for a White House accustomed to surreal moments.

During a meeting with President Trump, Kanye West delivered animated and wide-ranging remarks on issues from the 13th Amendment to U.S. manufacturing.

Beyoncé's Lemonade and Kanye West's The Life of Pablo were always bound to be overwhelmingly successful albums — returns after relatively long absences from two of the world's most well-known artists.

Sometimes, good music is not enough. Not even for Kanye West, the musical genius and G.O.O.D. Music mogul who stooped, and fell, to cretinous levels in the eyes of many fans this week.

Earlier this week Kanye West ended his social media hiatus and hopped on Twitter to share anecdotes about life, existence and the universe. West announced that he is writing a book on philosophy. He also tweeted that he will release two new albums later this spring (he'd been spotted around Jackson Hole, Wyo. over the last few months, where many believe he is working on his new albums with some of hip-hop's finest).

Dec 20, 2016

State of the Art and The Dates of Our Lives host Ryan Drake shares his 20 favorite songs of 2016:

20. Charlie XCX ft. Lil Yachty - "After The Afterparty"

I don’t believe in guilty pleasures but I do believe that I am ashamed of how many times I have listened to this song in the last two months. (Also I love/hate the way she says “baby” in the first verse. I can’t explain myself.)

Rap singer Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized in Los Angeles for medical evaluation, according to reports by various media outlets. The cause was said to be stress and exhaustion.

West cancelled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour on Monday, following at least two shows where West made rambling speeches from the stage, berating other musical artists and announcing his support for President-elect Donald Trump.
