The 2023 season will mark the third launch for the XFL spring football league. Now under new ownership, the league is hoping to bring an enhanced experience to fans next February.

The XFL is no more once again. The fledgling pro spring football league has folded just five games into its return season because of the coronavirus pandemic. The league played one season in 2001.

The XFL was launched in 2001 as an NFL with attitude. It folded after a single season. But the league is back in 2020. Will it survive?
