The seven-time Super Bowl champion purchased a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, a deal unanimously approved by NFL team owners at the league's annual fall meeting.

"I'm retiring. For good," Brady said. The record-shattering quarterback released the message on Feb. 1, the same date he announced his retirement from the NFL in 2022.

Brady and Bundchen posted statements on Instagram Friday, with each saying they had "amicably" reached the decision, months after Brady's decision to unretire. They have two children together.

"I know of no prior instance of a team violating the prohibition on tampering with both a head coach and star player" over several years, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said.

Before the retirement party confetti even had a chance to settle, the quarterback said he's unretiring. He'll return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season.

Widely regarded as the greatest football player of all time, the quarterback is finally calling an end to his history-making 22-year career.

ESPN reported that Brady, considered by many the greatest quarterback to ever play, was retiring after a 22-year career. But his agent would not confirm it, prompting questions and confusion.

The Tampa Bay quarterback won his record seventh Super Bowl in his first season with the Buccaneers. Brady set a number of records including being the oldest ever to play in the championship.

The quarterback, who spent two decades and won six Super Bowls in a Patriots jersey, said goodbye in statements posted Tuesday. But Brady, 42, has said it's "unlikely" he'll be hanging up his cleats.
