CNN's Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour said her interview with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in New York was abruptly canceled when she refused to wear a headscarf.

Streaming service CNN+ is coming to an abrupt end on April 30, according to an internal memo. CNN+ had recruited top media talent before rolling out the platform late last month.

Chief marketing officer Allison Gollust quit after the end of a probe of former prime-time star Chris Cuomo. Gollust, Cuomo and former CNN chief Jeff Zucker were all cited for violating standards.

CNN's best-known journalists are demanding transparency over the reasons compelling former CNN head Jeff Zucker to resign. He acknowledged a consensual relationship with another top network executive.

Zucker, CNN's top executive, says he failed to disclose the relationship when it began, as the company requires. Instead, it emerged during an inquiry into former CNN host Chris Cuomo.

The respected journalist, who kept the news of his exit secret from colleagues, will head to CNN's new streaming service.

"My client came forward at this time because she felt in sharing her story and related documentation, she could help protect other women," said attorney Debra Katz on Sunday.

CNN said new documents "raise serious questions" about the anchor's role in trying to help his brother, former N.Y. governor Andrew Cuomo, respond to sexual misconduct allegations.

CNN correspondent Clarissa Ward says educated Afghan women fear they will lose everything under Taliban rule. "Based on my experience with the Taliban, you can't expect them to change," she says.
