State Senate Special Election, Charter School Funding, Epic Termination Trial & More

This Week in Oklahoma Politics, KOSU's Michael Cross talks with Republican Political Consultant Neva Hill and Civil Rights Attorney Ryan Kiesel about the special election to fill the seat of now-Congresswoman Stephanie Bice along with other elections in central Oklahoma, lawmakers working to undo a resolution by the State Board of Education settling a lawsuit giving charter schools more access to public funds & the State Virtual Charter School Board setting a trial date for the contract termination of Epic Charter Schools.

 

The trio also discusses approval by the Oklahoma County Board of Commissioners to allow the sheriff to work with a production company to create a reality television show and the announcement of Dr. Kayse Shrum as Oklahoma State University's next president.
