State Income Tax Filing And Payment Date Moved Back To July 15

Oklahomans will have three additional months to pay their state income taxes, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In an emergency meeting Thursday, the Oklahoma Tax Commission voted unanimously to move the deadline from April 15 to July 15. There will be no penalties or interest on the deferred payments.

Individuals and non-corporate tax filers can defer up to $1 million of income tax payments and corporate taxpayers will be granted a similar deferment of up to $10 million in deferments.

Taxpayers must still file their returns by April 15.

Update: Tha Oklahoma Tax Commission on Friday announced that the payment and filing deadlines have both been moved from April 15 to July 15.
