Seven New Deaths, 2,200 New COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Oklahoma health officials reported seven new deaths on Monday for a total of 1,743 deaths since March. They are as follows:

  • One in Creek County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Oklahoma County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Okmulgee County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Pawnee County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Rogers County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Stephens County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Tulsa County, one male in the 65 or older age group.

2,200 new cases of the coronavirus were also reported. Oklahoma has seen a total of 197,745 positive cases since March.
*Note: weekend reporting of cases and deaths is typically low compared to weekdays.

In the past seven days, Oklahoma has reported 19,871 new cases and 94 deaths due to the coronavirus. That's an average of 2,839 cases per day and 13 deaths per day.

163,727 people — more than 82 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

There are 32,275 active cases in the state.
