OU, OSU Planning To Hold In-Person Classes This Fall

Oklahoma State University

Students may be back on the campuses of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University this fall.

In a Friday afternoon letter to the university community, Interim President Joseph Harroz announced that it is OU's intention to be back in session — in-person — by fall 2020.

Harroz wrote that life on campus will likely be different than in the past, but OU will be releasing details on changes to instruction models and housing to ensure students, faculty and staff can stay healthy in the coming months.

Also on Friday, OSU tweeted that while they're planning to resume classes this fall on campus, they're still analyzing the situation and evaluating their plans.

It’s unclear what other universities statewide will do. But, every other higher education institution is currently conducting distance learning, like OU and OSU.
