Osage Nation Reports Six New Cases Of COVID-19

The Osage Nation Health Services reported six new cases of COVID-19 over the past week.

According to a statement from the Wah-Zha-Zhi Health Center, all six individuals were employees of the Osage Nation. Those who came into close contact with the individuals were ordered to self-isolate and quarantine themselves.

At least one person attended a funeral and an outdoor election event on June 1. Osage Nation is recommending anyone that attended those events to self-monitor for symptoms.

The tests were performed on June 2 and Osage Nation has been in contact with the state epidemiologist.

The Wah-Zha-Zhi Health Center will have a testing event soon.
