Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt announced in a Wednesday press conference that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Stitt says he feels fine, although he was a "little bit achy" yesterday. He also said he is not running a fever. After getting positive test results Tuesday afternoon, Stitt says he has been self-isolating.
He is believed to be the first governor to test positive for the virus. He joins prominent politicians like U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms who have tested positive for the virus.
Stitt reiterated that he is not considering a mask mandate for the state.
