New COVID-19 Cases Increase By 510 In Oklahoma

Oklahoma health officials report new cases of COVID-19 increased by 510 on Monday. That's a two and a half percent increase in total reported cases, with the state's total now at 20,745.
Two new deaths were reported, bringing the state's death toll to 424. They are as follows:

  • One in Payne County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Tulsa County, a female in the 65 and older age group.

*Note: weekend reporting of cases and deaths is typically very low compared to weekdays.

Oklahoma has totaled 4,383 new cases of the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 626 per day.

15,815 people — more than 76 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

There are 4,506 active cases in the state. Oklahoma County has the most active cases with 1,290, followed by Tulsa County with 1,143, Cleveland County with 240, Canadian County has 165, McCurtain County with 138 and 113 in Rogers County.
