The National Basketball Association's Board of Governors voted Thursday on a framework to restart their season.
22 of the league's 30 teams will return to play, with a tentative start date of July 31st and all games set to be played at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
While details are still being ironed out, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be one of those 22 teams, playing eight regular-season games apiece before the playoffs start.
The Thunder last played a game on March 8. They were set to play the Utah Jazz on March 11 when just before tip-off it was announced that a Utah Jazz player had become infected with COVID-19. A few hours later, the NBA suspended their regular season.
The league is working with public health experts to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, including rigorous testing and strict safety practices.
If everything goes to plan, the NBA season would end no later than October 12.
