Inhofe, Lankford Vote Against Emergency Funding Bill

President Donald Trump signed a coronavirus aid package into law Wednesday evening, after the Senate approved the new round of emergency funding earlier Wednesday.

Oklahoma Senators Jim Inhofe and James Lanford were two of the eight votes against the bill, saying it didn't provide enough help for small businesses.

The economic relief bill provides paid sick and family leave for some for U.S. workers impacted by the virus, expands unemployment assistance, includes nutrition assistance and increases resources for testing. There are more efforts underway to put together a third, larger relief measure that could total $1 trillion.
