Curbside Chronicle 'Wraps Up' the Holidays

facebook.com/CurbsideOKC

The Curbside Chronicle is teaming up with local artists to celebrate the holidays for a good cause.

Until December 23rd, vendors are selling wrapping paper with custom designs from local artists including Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne as part of the Homeless Alliance program.

Curbside Chronicle Director Ranya Forgotson says this helps vendors as they work toward the goal of ending homelessness for themselves.

“Our vendors are at events every single weekend selling this wrapping paper. And, so, not only are they getting to be included in the community and in the, kind of, the holiday spirit, but we’re also able to provide additional income opportuinities and additional employment through this product.”

The packages of five – 24 x 36 inch – sheets, are available for purchase from vendors wearing green vests in Oklahoma City or at local retailers, including the Holiday Pop Up Shops in Oklahoma City. They're also available for purchase at WrapUpHomelessness.com.
