COVID Hospitalizations Break 1,500, As Oklahoma Adds 21 Deaths, 3,663 New Cases

As of Friday evening, a record-high 1,505 Oklahomans were hospitalized due to the virus, with another record-high 450 people in intensive care.

Oklahoma health officials reported 21 new deaths on Saturday. No further details were given. 1,624 Oklahomans have died due to the virus since March.
3,663 new cases of the coronavirus were also reported, as Oklahoma has seen a total of 170,924 positive cases since March.

Oklahoma has reported 20,719 new cases and 108 deaths due to the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 2,960 cases and 15 deaths per day.

137,887 people — more than 80 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

There are 31,413 active cases in the state.
