15 medical and long-term care organizations signed on to a letter requesting Governor Kevin Stitt expand his executive order, by issuing a broad “Shelter in Place” order.
The letter says more aggressive, proactive efforts are needed to stop the spread of COVID-19 and prevent unnecessary death. It calls for the order to include all 77 Oklahoma counties, not just ones where people have tested positive for the disease, and closing non-essential businesses until the pandemic is truly contained.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission have announced the FCC will expand Internet bandwidth for rural schools and hospitals as the state deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The free bandwidth will help medical professionals with telehealth services and virtual doctor visits, as well as allow public schools and libraries to assist with online education.
Rural hospitals, schools and other eligible entities in need of increased bandwidth can notify their service provider, which will then contact the commission.

Governor Kevin Stitt is declaring a statewide day of prayer for Thursday.
In a press release, the governor is calling on Oklahoma faith leaders to unite for a special prayer and worship event tonight at 6:30 for all Oklahomans impacted by COVID-19.
The event called “Let Hope Rise: Together In Prayer for Oklahoma” will air on Oklahoma City’s News 9 and Tulsa’s News On 6, as well as online at TransformationChurch.com. In-person attendance will not be allowed in accordance with current social distancing guidelines.
