There are now more than 1,000 positive cases of the coronavirus in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed Saturday that positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 1,159, an increase of 171 cases from Friday. That's a 17 percent increase in total cases.
Four more Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, increasing the state's death toll to 42. The deaths reported Saturday include:
- One in Cleveland County, a female older than 65.
- One in Latimer County, a male older than 65.
- One in Osage County, a male in the 50-64 age group.
- One in Washington County, a female older than 65.
56 of Oklahoma's 77 counties are reporting positive cases of COVID-19. Oklahoma County has the most number of cases with 256. Tulsa County has 221, Cleveland County has 169, Creek County has 43, Wagoner County has 40 and Comanche County has 37.
