Oklahoma health officials report 585 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday, representing another new high in single-day infections.
Two additional Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, bringing the state's death toll to 387.
- One in Rogers County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
- One in Mayes County, a female in the 36-49 age group.
The 585 new infections represent a four and a half percent increase in total reported cases, with the state's total now at 13,757.
Oklahoma has totaled 2,729 new cases of the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 390 per day.
Oklahoma has seen 7,251 new coronavirus cases so far this month. That's 263% of the number of cases the state saw in May (2,758) and 250% of the number of cases it saw in April (2,899).
10,085 people — more than 73 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus. 315 Oklahomans are currently hospitalized as either confirmed positive COVID-19 cases or under investigation for the virus.
There are 3,285 active cases in the state. Tulsa County has the most active cases with 1,032, followed by Oklahoma County with 804, McCurtain County with 247, Cleveland County with 201 and Payne County with 146.
