Three more Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, increasing the state's death toll to 99. The deaths reported Monday include:
- Two in Canadian County, a male and female in the 65 and older age group.
- One in Kay County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed Monday that positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 2,069, an increase of 99 cases from Sunday. That's a five percent increase in total cases.
63 of Oklahoma's 77 counties are reporting positive cases of COVID-19. Oklahoma County has the most number of cases with 455. Tulsa County has 337, Cleveland County has 267, Washington County has 114, Wagoner County has 73, Delaware County has 63, Canadian County has 57, and Creek County and Osage County each have 56.
Health officials say they're working with long term care facilities to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 through onsite consultation, assessment and training.
