344 Deaths, 6,907 Positive COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Three more Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, increasing the state's death toll to 344. One of the deaths occurred in the past 24 hours and the others occurred between May 22 and June 2. The deaths reported Thursday include:

  • Two in Tulsa County, one female in the 36-49 age group and one female in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Oklahoma County, a male in the 65 and older age group.

Health officials confirmed that total positive cases of the coronavirus in the state now stand at 6,907, an increase of 102 cases from Wednesday. That's more than a one percent increase in total reported cases.
5,781 people — nearly 84 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

148 Oklahomans are currently hospitalized as either confirmed positive COVID-19 cases or under investigation for the virus.
