If you're looking for something to do this weekend in Oklahoma, here are a few ideas.

The State Fiddlers Winter Convention lasts from Thursday to Saturday and is open to all fiddlers players and music lovers. The event will feature a variety of genres from Jazz to Country to Blue Grass. Bob Fjeldsted, president of the Oklahoma State Fiddlers’ Northeastern chapter, said the event is open to people and fiddle players of all ages. The Round Up Boys, a group Fjeldsted is part of, will also perform at the event. The convention is held at the lodge in the Sequoyah State Park, on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake.

The El Reno Chocolate Festival is Thursday, February 18 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. One of the coordinators, Kerry Weaver, said the festival will feature just about any chocolate creation people can think of.  The event is a fundraiser to help support the Carnegie Library in El Reno.

The Oklahoma Historical Society is hosting an event highlighting thehistory of the NAACP on Saturday, February 20 at the Oklahoma History Center in OKC. The event begins at 11 a.m. Garland Pruitt, president of the Oklahoma City chapter of the organization, will speak at the event. There will also be a program for children starting at 2 p.m.
