13 New Deaths, 765 New COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Oklahoma health officials reported thirteen new deaths on Tuesday, bringing the state's total to 618. They are as follows:

  • Three in Oklahoma County, one female and two males in the 65 or older age group.
  • Two in Canadian County, two females in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Caddo County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Carter County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Cleveland County, one male in the 50 - 64 age group.
  • One in Craig County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Delaware County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Pittsburg County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Rogers County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Tulsa County, one female in the 65 or older age group.

There were also 765 new cases of COVID-19 reported. That's nearly a two percent increase in total reported cases, with the state's total now at 44,728.
Oklahoma has totaled 5,265 new cases of the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 752 per day.

37,193 people — more than 82 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus. 530 Oklahomans are currently hospitalized as either confirmed positive COVID-19 cases or under investigation for the virus.

There are 6,917 active cases in the state. Oklahoma County has the most active cases with 1,590, followed by Tulsa County with 1,476, Cleveland County with 337, Rogers County with 249, Canadian County with 179, Pittsburg County with 173, Wagoner County with 154, Garfield County with 150, Cherokee County with 150, LeFlore County with 123, Creek County has 118, Sequoyah County with 116, Muskogee County has 115, Payne County with 105 and Pottawatomie County with 102.
