10 New Deaths, 3,406 New COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Weekend reporting is typically low compared to weekdays, but Oklahoma health officials reported another big single day increase of 3,406 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday. The state has seen a total of 174,330 positive cases since March.

    Ten new deaths due to the virus were also reported, bringing the state's total to 1,634. No further details were released.
    As of Friday evening, a record-high 1,505 Oklahomans were hospitalized due to the virus, with another record-high 450 people in intensive care.

    Oklahoma has reported 20,202 new cases and 106 deaths due to the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 2,886 cases and 15 deaths per day.

    There are a record-high 32,384 active cases in the state.
