10 Must See Acts At Norman Music Festival 2019

Norman Music Festival starts on Thursday and it's time to start planning your schedule for each day of the fest! Every day of this free festival has so many great artists I'm sure you want to see them all like we do. Unfortunately it's not possible to see every single act, but here are our opinions on the ten acts that are absolute must-sees at Norman Music Festival this year.

Thursday, April 25th

9:15pm: Night Beats @ Opolis Outdoor Stage

This psychedelic-garage-rock outift has been together for 10 years since they formed in Seattle, Washington. Which means they have had pleanty of time to create a captivatiing live show to go with their far out songs, check out their song "One Thing" below.

10:00pm: Zunis @ Resonator 

Tulsa band Zunis never fail to deliver an energetic performance of their indie-psych-rock tunes. Watch the music video for their song "Power Be" below.

10:45pm: Soccer Mommy @ Opolis Outdoor Stage

If you havent heard of singer-songwriter Sophie Allison (aka: Soccer Mommy) yet, it's time to crawl out from under that rock and make your way to Norman to see her take the stage. Soccer Mommy is an indie-rock icon with songs you may recognize, check out her song "Your Dog" below!

Friday, April 26th

8:30pm: Pearl Earl @ Opolis Outdoor Stage

These Denton, Texas rock and rollers are a definite must see because of their energetic performances of their ferocious rock songs. Watch the music video for their song "Meet Your Maker" below.

9:00pm: Planet What @ Gray Street Stage

Planet What are grunge-trash-rock heros that are having a homecoming during NMF. The band was founded in Tulsa, and although some members moved to Chicago they continue to play and tour together. Watch their music video for the song "Pourage" below.

10:45pm: The Garden @ Opolis Outdoor Stage

This experimental-rock duo is comprised of twins Wyatt and Fletcher Shears from Orange County. Their performance is sure to bring the house down, don't stand in the middle if you're not prepared for a mosh pit! Hear their song "Call The Dogs Out" below.

Saturday, April 27th

6:00pm: Skating Polly @ Fowler Automotive Main Stage

7:00pm: John Calvin Abney @ Gray Street Stage

Oklahoma native singer-songwriter John Calvin Abney is sure to draw a large crowd to be sure to get there early! Watch the video for his song "Always Enough" below!

7:15pm: Omar Apollo @ Fowler Automotive Main Stage

This 21-year-old seamlessly blends jazz, soul, alternative, and pop into a beautiful medly all his own. Watch the video for his song "Ashamed" below!

10:00pm: Beach Fossils @ Fowler Automotive Main Stage

If you listened to our interview with Beach Fossils frontman Dustin Payseur, then you already know the band is excited for this performance. There are so many incredible acts playing NMF this year, of course we couldn't choose them all. We will be at the festival trying to squeeze in as many shows as we possibly can. Who are you the most excited to see?
