Video Breakdown: State Question 792

sq792.png

As KOSU and KGOU began crafting ideas for our collaborative election project Oklahoma Engaged, we were interested in several forms of storytelling. This included informative and in-depth radio stories and video profiles of folks in a south Oklahoma City district.

But, we also wanted to strip away all extraneous information and get down to the bare bones of a couple of the seven state questions. And to do that, we commissioned two videos from Blake Behrens of Radfive Creative.

This video breaks down State Question 792—the liquor laws question—to show what it means if you vote 'yes' and what it means if you vote 'no'.

We hope the video will inform viewers about one question on the ballot and we hope that you will share it with your friends and family as they ponder their vote on November 8.

Oklahoma Engaged is a collaborative series between KGOU and KOSU, with support from the Kirkpatrick Foundation. You can find more and follow along at OklahomaEngaged.com.

The KOSU news team curates news of interest to Oklahomans from various sources around the world. Our hope is inform, educate, and entertain.
Hey! Did you enjoy this story? We can’t do it without you. We are member-supported, so your donation is critical to KOSU's news reporting and music programming. Help support the reporters, DJs and staff of the station you love.
