Today, Oklahomans are headed to the polls to vote.
KOSU’s Diana Martinez reports.
Early voters cast their ballots at the Payne County Election Board on Friday.
A Kansas voter came in to vote for the first time in Oklahoma saying it’s her civic duty.
“Voting is a wonderful privilege that America has and I think if you don’t vote it’s sad, because a lot of countries don’t have that availability to them. It’s a wonderful freedom that we get to enjoy."
Polls are open today until 7 o'clock this evening.
Statewide elections include races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Superintendent and both U.S. Senators.
