One Small Step participants Kristin McAtee and Marc Dreyer met for the first time virtually in late October.
In their conversation they talked at length about faith and their journeys to becoming pastors. McAtee is an associate pastor and Dreyer was a pastor for 39 years.
We paired them due to their differences in political identification, their similar experiences as being leaders within church settings and their desire to have a productive conversation with someone different from themselves.
McAtee describes herself as moderate but generally left-leaning. Dreyer describes himself as conservative with some moderate tendencies.
