Beginning Saturday, Oct. 2, KOSU will bring listeners a revised on-air schedule for the weekends.
Joining the schedule is On Being with Krista Tippett, which features conversations about spirituality, science and the spaces in between. The show takes up the big questions with scientists and theologians, artists and teachers — some you know and others you'll love to meet. This is a return for On Being on KOSU's programming schedule after several years away. Tippett was raised in Shawnee, Okla.
Leaving the schedule is Ask Me Another. NPR announced in June that the show would end production and distribution. Since it aired on KOSU on Saturdays and Sundays, this created a significant hole in KOSU's weekend schedule and precipitated the process of looking at a schedule revamp.
No other shows are leaving KOSU's airwaves in this new weekend lineup, but some shows will see new air times.
