Anna Farha, host of Wiretap, shares her 21 favorite songs of 2021.
Wiretap is such a fun show because I get to know all the new music on The Spy. Each week, my show plays about 15 newly released indie/alt songs, which helps me stay in the know with new singles and albums from many different artists locally and globally.
2021 has been a year of some fabulous new releases including some new favorite albums for me like St. Vincent’s Daddy’s Home. I liked her before, but that album is what really made me a huge fan of Oklahoma’s own Annie Clark. You’ll see one by her on this list, along with 20 others that were favorites I played on Wiretap this year. The list appears in the order of the songs played on my show, from earliest to latest. Cheers to more great tunes in ‘22!
