Amos Lee, Recorded In Concert

Philly based singer-songwriter Amos Lee graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in English, but soon gave up his job as an elementary school teacher to pursue a career in music. Lee made a name for himself in 2004 when he toured with Norah Jones. Inspired by a diverse palette of artists like John PrineJames Taylor and Bill Withers, Lee incorporates folk, soul and even jazz into his songs. His last album, Last Days at the Lodge, was released in 2008 and showcased his versatility with a wide range of melodies and emotions.

Lee brought together a super list of artists for his forthcoming album, Mission Bell. Due for release in January, the album will include contributions from Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Priscila Ahn, Pieta Brown, James Gadson and Calexico.
