The British electro-pop band Hot Chip samples and tweaks old sounds in its new songs. The group performs material from its latest album, Made in the Dark.
The quintet sounds surprisingly comfortable translating its songs to acoustic versions, which it does in "Ready for the Floor," "Made in the Dark," and "In the Privacy of Our Love." Its members say that that's because the structure of the songs is so strong that they can withstand any form imposed on them.
