Severe weather has walloped Oklahoma this month. First major flooding hit much of the state, then a tornado shredded a small town, killing two people. More floods are forecast for later this week.

Dangerous erosion at the Arkansas River

Please do not get near the rushing waters of the River Trails. Today we received multiple reports of an individual that fell into the river screaming for help and was swept downstream.https://t.co/0WnWQdjLNr#2019TulsaFlood
A reminder on this beautiful day: River Parks is CLOSED. The River Parks system has transitioned from a recreational area into a buffer that keeps you safe from the rising Arkansas River. The water won’t crest until late today. https://t.co/YJ0Hyw4SEF pic.twitter.com/CBpIYJgPl7
