43 New Deaths, 2,882 New COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Oklahoma health officials reported 43 new deaths due to the coronavirus on Sunday, for a total of 3,547 deaths since March 2020. No further information was given.
2,882 new infections were also reported, for a total of 389,472 positive cases since March.

*Note: weekend reporting of cases and deaths is typically very low compared to weekdays.

In the past seven days, Oklahoma has reported 16,382 new cases and 268 deaths due to the coronavirus. That's an average of 2,340 infections per day and 38 deaths per day.

356,386 people — more than 91 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus.

There are 29,539 active cases in the state.
