Seven More Oklahomans Dead From COVID-19

Oklahoma health officials report seven additional Oklahomans have died due to COVID-19, bringing the state's total to 384. The deaths reported Saturday include:

  • Two in Muskogee County, a male in the 65 and older age group and a female in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Caddo County, a male in the 50-64 age group.
  • One in McCurtain County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Tulsa County, a female in the 50-64 age group.
  • One in Wagoner County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
  • One in Washington County, a female in the 65 and older age group.

299 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday. That represents more than a two percent increase in total reported cases, with the state's total now at 12,642.
Oklahoma has totaled 2,605 new cases of the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 372 per day.

Oklahoma has seen 6,136 new coronavirus cases so far this month. That's 222% of the number of cases the state saw in May (2,758) and 212% of the number of cases it saw in April (2,899).
