Virtual Comic Art Workshop for Teens
Virtual Comic Art Workshop for Teens
Join the Stillwater Public Library for the “NEA Tails and Tales” Virtual Summer Reading Program “Comic Art Workshop for Teens.” During this virtual workshop, teens in grades 6-12 will join New York Times Bestselling cartoonist, Aaron Polk, as he guides students through the fundamentals of professional comic book creation. This workshop will teach students the foundations of visual storytelling, how to create a mini-comic, and is a perfect entry point into the exciting (though sometimes daunting) world of cartooning! Registration is required to attend the live Zoom event and to pick up an art supply packet. Space is limited. Register at https://tinyurl.com/teencomic. Can’t attend live? Catch the replay available for a limited time on the Library’s YouTube channel at https://tinyurl.com/YouTubeSPL. At the end of the workshop, attendees will receive a secret code to enter into BookPoints to get entered into a raffle drawing!
