100 Oklahoma airports will be getting more than $42 million in economic relief grants from the federal government. The funds are aimed at supporting and stabilizing airport credit ratings and ensuring that airports are properly maintained during the global pandemic.

Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City will get $21.7 million and Tulsa International Airport will get $15.5 million. Meanwhile, Stillwater Regional Airport and Lawton-Fort Sill Regional Airport will each get $1.1 million.

The funds were doled out by the Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday under the CARES Act, which allocated $10 billion in economic relief to U.S. airports affected by COVID-19.
