This year's deadCenter Film Festival isn't just for film lovers.

For the music fan, the fest's weekend line up includes music documentaries like "Getting It Back: The CymandeStory" and "The Oklahoma Breakdown", as well as a chance to see Oklahoma's best music videos on the big screen across Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma Breakdown

Directed by Christopher Fitzpatrick, the documentary covers the life of Norman musician Mike Hosty, a staple of the Oklahoma music scene. His song "Oklahoma Breakdown," where the documentary gets it title, has been covered by the likes of Toby Keith and Stoney LaRue.

The documentary features other Oklahoma musicians like Cody Canada, Jason Boland and Ryan Lindsey, all sharing their love and memories of Hosty. Besides exploring Mike Hosty, it is a fun trip through the last 20 plus years of the Oklahoma music scene through the eyes of someone who has been in it.

Music Video Showcase

In a partnership with Norman Music Festival, deadCenter is presenting the inaugural Oklahoma Music Video Award. The finalists were announced at Norman Music Festival and will be shown this weekend at deadCenter at the following times:
