Family Friendly Trick or Treating at the OKC Zoo

A Halloween tradition is entering its 31st year this weekend at The Oklahoma City Zoo.

Haunt the Zoo gives Oklahoma children a chance to collect treats from costumed characters in a safe and exciting environment.

Public relations associate Carrie Allen explains the festive decorations are appropriate for all ages.

“It’s just right without the fright. So that families can come and have a great time trick-or-treating throughout the zoo. It’s every night through October 26 to October 31, Halloween Night, from 6:30-8:30 nightly.”

As the Zoo’s largest fundraiser of the year, proceeds support education and conservation programs.

This eek-o-friendly experience provides fabric treat bags and candy that is palm-oil free or made with sustainable palm oil.

Admission for children is $6 in advance or $7 at the gate, but adults are free.
