October in OKC Means Haunt the Zoo is Back

facebook.com/okczoobg

The Oklahoma City Zoo is gearing up for an eek-o-friendly Halloween.

KOSU’s Crystal Huffman has the details leading up to this year’s Haunt the Zoo.

The Oklahoma City Zoo invites you to go green this Halloween by joining their 3rd annual Costume Swap and Pumpkin Drive.

Over 6,000 tons of landfill waste could be avoided each year by recycling Halloween costumes.

This Saturday, October 4, donate and swap your gently used costumes at the Zoo’s entrance in the Global Plaza from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Until October 13, bring a pumpkin larger than your head to receive free same day admission.

The Zoo is displaying the pumpkins during Haunt the Zoo October 26 - 31.
