Besides acting in television and film, Hill Harper spends much of his free time mentoring young people.

His 2006 book, Letters to a Young Brother, is a collection of letters from prominent African Americans to young black men.

His newest book is aimed at young black women; it's titled Letters to a Young Sister: DeFINE your Destiny.

Actress Gabrielle Union wrote the book's foreword.

Both join Farai Chideya to share life lessons and talk about the new project.
